Graeme Souness says he would not be surprised if Real Madrid paid £150m for Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer.

The England international was one of the standout performers last season, contributing the most goals in the league and picking up the Young Player of the Year award, and has continued that trend this term, with six goals and five assists.
Souness has praised Palmer’s impressive displays and said he would not be surprise if he becomes a target for Los Blancos, who are keen to sign him.
“Chelsea paid £40m for Palmer but if Real Madrid come knocking next summer and he continues to perform at the level he is performing at the moment, I wouldn’t be surprise if they offer £150m for him,” Souness told the UFABET.
“He’s still young so we’ll make decisions early on, but if Palmer plays at this level and continues to do well he’s going to be a top player. He’s got great skills, great athleticism and it’s a great thing to play football. There’s nothing I don’t like about him. He’s 22, and at this age there’s no better.”
“The director likes his personality too. You can read a lot about players from their reactions when they score and Palmer doesn’t go crazy when he scores.”
“He looks very intelligent and he seems to have a UFABET very good knowledge of football, which is what you would expect from Manchester City in the modern era.”
